Mayo vaccination centre opens this morning

THE Mayo Covid-19 vaccination centre is opening this morning (Monday).

Confirming the news, Deputy Alan Dillon said the vaccination centre at Breaffy House Sports Arena opens this morning, with the first vaccines being administered from 10 a.m.

He commented: “This is a really important step forward and well done to all the HSE staff, the Saolta Group and those working extremely hard behind the scenes to get this facility up and running.

“As vaccine supplies increase over the coming weeks it's hoped that over 17,000 people will be vaccinated weekly at this centre.”
