Suspect arrested in garda investigation into knifepoint robbery at Mayo store

A man has been arrested by gardaí in Mayo as part of their investigations into an aggravated robbery which took place in Castlebar last night.

The development in the inquiry has been confirmed by An Garda Siochana.

The incident occurred at Your Stop, a popular convenience store at Davitt's Terrace in the town.

The suspect entered the premises armed with a knife at around 8.45 p.m. and left with €500 worth of tobacco products.

He has spotted in the vicinity shorty before committing the offense.
