Covid: Five deaths and 461 new cases
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of five additional deaths related to Covid-19.
As of midnight yesterday, the HPSC was notified of 461 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 246,204.
Of the cases notified today:
235 are men / 224 are women.
75% are under 45 years of age.
The median age is 28 years old.
No county-by-county breakdowns are available today.
As of 8 a.m. today, 162 Covid-19 patients were hospitalised, of which 46 were in ICU. Nine additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
