Mayo greenway will have summer toilet facilities

USERS of the Great Western Greenway will have toilet facilities at their disposal this summer.

The news was confirmed to Councillor John O'Malley who told a local area meeting that he is asked about toilets between Westport and Newport every day of the week.

The facilities were needed, he said.

Tourism officer Anna Connor said Mayo County Council has a budget for toilet facilities each summer and it is hoped to put them back on the greenway very shortly.
