Mayo supermarket set for a new look following investment

Refurbishment works are underway at Kavanagh's SuperValu Castlebar.

A new state-of-the-art interior design will be in place in June.

A new meat counter, fishmonger, bakery and fresh foods departments are being put in place while the vegan and artisan food ranges are being extended along with a number of other exciting new features.

A spokesperson outlined: "We’re also reducing our carbon footprint by installing new eco-friendly lighting and closed refrigeration units.

"We are trading through the renovation works so you can still shop with us during this time and don’t forget our extensive online offering."
