THE following are today's Mayo death and funeral notices.

JOHN WALSH, KILTIMAGH

John Walsh, Ballinamore, Kiltimagh.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Dora, sons John, Richard and Paul, daughters in laws Amanda, Aine, and Theodora, grandchildren Freya, Aaron and Maria-Joanna, brothers Michael and James, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral cortège will leave the family home on Friday morning at 11.40 a.m. to arrive at The Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilkinure Cemetery, Kiltimagh. Due to current Government best practice guidelines, the funeral is for family members only. Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.kiltimaghparish.org.

MARTIN GIBBONS, BELMULLET

Martin Gibbons, Fr. Mulhern Crescent, Belmullet, formerly of Ballyglass, Belmullet and Loughta, Louisburgh.

Predeceased by his brothers Mickey and Paddy and his nephew Michael. He is sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Florence, his sisters Margaret Keaney (Dublin) and Frances Lynch (Dublin), nephews, brother in law Michael Lynskey, sisters in law Carol and family, Mary, Tony and family, Breege and family, Sheila, Eamon and family, Peggy, Patrick and family, Teresa and family, Evelyn, Peter and family, his cherished friend Malachy Gaughan (Leeds), relatives, wonderful neighbours and many friends.

Removal from his residence on Friday evening at 7 p.m., with funeral arriving at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet, at 7.30 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Cross Cemetery.

Memorial Mass for Martin will be held at a later date.

PADDY GAVIN, CLAREMORRIS

Paddy Gavin, Brize, Claremorris.

Predeceased by his parents and sister Phil.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Breege, sons Adrian and Vincent, and daughter Deirdre. Brother Mattie, sisters Maureen and Kathleen, sisters in law, brothers in law.

He will be sadly missed by his adored granddaughters Anna and Erin, son-in-law Alan, Adrian’s partner Dorota, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.

Removal from his residence for Funeral Mass on Friday, May 7, at 4 p.m. in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace and St. Gerald, Mayo Abbey followed by burial in the local cemetery.

THOMAS FLANNERY, MAYO

Thomas (Tom), London, formerly of Belwell, Dunmore, Co. Galway and Mayo.

Tom leaves behind his loving wife Cait (Cathy), daughters Fiona and Catherine, son Thomas and future son-in-law Kenneth. Adored Grandad to Thomas Aiden. Tom will be sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Briege (Crosby) and Clare (Kirrane), nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Tom’s funeral is to be held at The Sacred Heart Church, Kilburn on Tuesday May 18, at 11:30 a.m., followed by his committal at Hendon Crematorium at 2 p.m. Tom will also be making one final stop, at his pub Flannery’s Bar, Wembley at approx. 1.30 p.m. en-route to Hendon Crematorium.

DAVID W HOWARD, KNOCK

David W. Howard. 6 Drumcrest, Ballyhaunis Road, Knock. Predeceased by his brother John.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Paula, niece Katie, nephew Jonathan, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

Removal from the Marian Funeral Home (F12A 726), Knock on Saturday, May 8, to The Church of St John the Baptist for Mass at 1 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
