West Mayo school's sports facilities plan unveiled
A school in west Mayo is planning to develop its sports facilities, which will be a welcome boost for pupils.
The board of management at Killeen National School in Louisburgh is proposing to construct an all-weather playing pitch, with enclosure approximately 2 metres high, and a surrounding running track on the existing grass pitch to the rear of the school.
An application for planning approval has been submitted to Mayo County Council.
