PATRICK LALLY, FOXFORD

Patrick Lally, better known as Francie, of Tavanaghmore, Foxford.

Francie, predeceased by his parents Patrick and Kathleen, his brother Tommy and his sister Mary. Francie will be dearly and lovingly missed by his brothers Martin, Michael, Gerard, Brendan and John his sisters Helen, Bridget, Ann and Orla, his nephews, nieces, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, relatives, neighbours and his fellow residents and staff of the Blackrocks Nursing Private Nursing Home, Foxford.

Funeral cortège will leave Clarke's Funeral Home, Foxford, on Thursday morning at 10.30 a.m. via Pontoon Cross and The Sceinic Carpark, Tavanaghmore, passing the family residence en route to The Church of Christ The King, Knockmore, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with the funeral proceeding to Ballinahaglish Cemetery.

MARY ELLEN CARROLL, WESTPORT

Mary Ellen Carroll (née Rooney) St. Mary's Crescent, Westport.

Predeceased by her husband Dan, parents John and Mary Rooney and brother Paddy. Sadly missed by her loving family, son Liam, daughters Mary, Catherine, Betty, Maggie and Nicola, daughter-in-law Anita, sons-in-law Paul, Tom, Michael and Noel, grandchildren Ryan, Jack, Killian, Dylan, Sam, Asleigh, Lúcás, Taylor, Finn, Sadhbh, Conor and Eoin, great-grandchildren Daniel and Ruben, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass took place in St. Mary's Church, Westport with burial afterwards in Aughavale Cemetery.

MARGUERITE BYRNE, KNOCK

Marguerite Byrne (née Sloyan), Ballyhowley, Knock.

Predeceased by her parents Margaret and James Sloyan, husband Tom and infant son Stephen. Loved, cherished and deeply regretted by her heartbroken children Maria, Tommy, Joanne, Yvonne and John, daughter-in-law Sue, her adored grandchildren Tommy, Seamus and Siobhan and by Vince and Francis. She will be greatly missed by her loving siblings, brother Seamus and his wife Ann, sisters Evileen and Mary, brothers-in-law Tommie and Junior, nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, relatives in USA, UK and Ireland, work colleagues and her great friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home on Thursday, May 27, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. for family, friends and neighbours. Please adhere to Covid guidelines. Removal from residence on Friday, May 28, to the Church of St John the Baptist Knock for Mass of the Resurrection at 1.30 p.m., followed by burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

HELEN WALSH, BALLINA

Helen Walsh (née Clarke), Killala Road, Ballina, and late of Ballybrooney, Killala.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, parents Jimmy and Bridget Clarke, sister Vera, brother Jarlath and son-in-law Mike. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her heartbroken family, Marie, Geraldine, Yvonne, Catherine, Nuala, Thérése and Michael, daughter-in-law Annemarie, sons-in-law Dalton, Phil and Graeme, adored grandchildren Guy, Michael, Jack and Lauren, sisters Maura, Joan, Monica and Nuala, brothers Leo, Seamus, Liam and Joseph, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral cortège will leave her residence on Friday morning, May 28, at 11 a.m. to arrive at St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30 a.m. with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed at www.ballinaparish.org.

MARTIN KILBANE, ACHILL

Martin Kilbane, Orwell Park, D.6W, formerly of Bleanaskill, Achill, and the Office of Government Procurement, North Wall.

Son of the late Brigid and John Kilbane, pre-deceased by his brother Thomas. Beloved husband and best friend of Katherine, dearly loved dad of Clodagh and Fearghal. Martin will be forever loved and sadly missed by his wife and children, brothers Patrick, Sean and Michael, sisters-in-law Paula, Geraldine and Maura, brother-in-law Peter, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, Andrew, extended family, relatives, friends and his St. Jude’s GAA family.

Due to the current Government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private Funeral will take place for immediate family only. PETER CORRIGAN, BALLYCROY

Peter Corrigan, Ballycroy.

Very deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Bridget. Loving father to J.J., Noel (London), Peter (Cambridge), Thomas (Cambridge), Maureen (London), Kathleen (Ballyvary), Nora (USA), Bridget Ann (Ballycroy) and Michael (Cambridge), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law. Sadly missed by his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Funeral Mass took place in the Holy Family Church, Ballycroy. Peter was laid to rest afterwards in Fahy Cemetery.

TOM CARNEY, BALLINROBE

Tom Carney Sr, Church View, Ballinrobe.

Predeceased by his son Paul and brother Johnny. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Bridie, loving sons Tom and Steven, daughter Tara, son-in-law Michael, daughters-in-law Donna and Rose, sister MaryAnn, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and large circle of friends.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 2 p.m. in St Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe with burial immediately afterwards in the New Cemetery.

Màire Breathnach (Walsh) Dunmore and Kilrush, Hollymount, Mayo. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Gerry and sister Àine. Deeply missed by her sons Pat, Gearoid and James, daughters Helen, Anne and Moya. Sadly missed by her brothers James and Hugh, sisters Evelyn, Josephine and Bridget, her sons and daughters-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law and all her adored grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. Màire will be deeply missed by her devoted carer Dundon.

Requiem Mass on Thursday, May 27, at 12 noon in Roundfort Church, burial afterwards in Dunmore Cemetery.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home this Saturday, May 29, at 9.45 a.m. with removal at 10.45 a.m. for funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Glenisland.

Sean will be laid to rest afterwards in Glenisland Cemetery.

Margaret Colbert Dempsey, Killarney Road, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick and Balla.

Margaret (Mags), beloved daughter of the late Pa Colbert, is very sadly missed by her loving husband Tony, mother Sheila (née Prendiville), brothers Ned, Jim and Paddy, niece Cliodna, sisters-in-law Joan, Evelyn, Trish, Alma and Ita, brothers-in-law John, Declan and Ken, mother-in-law Mary Jo Dempsey, uncle Dave, cousins, other relatives and her many friends.

Yvonne Annette McHale (née Inness), Innesshale, Station Road, Foxford.

Yvonne will be dearly missed by her loving husband David and their daughter Anna-Marie (Walsh), grandsons Rían and Kiefer, son in-law Adrian, her sister Sandra, her brother Graeme, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral cortège will leave her residence on Saturday morning at 10.30 a.m. to arrive to St. Michaels Church, Foxford for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding afterwards via Station Road to Ballinahaglish Cemetery.
