Lease of Mayo primary school renewed by local authority

Castlebar Municipal District has renewedd its lease with the Department of Education in respect of Marsh House, Newport Road, Castlebar, which houses Castlebar Educate Together National School.

The annual rent is €20,000 for four years.

The renewal was formally approved by elected members of Castlebar Municipal District.

The lease is subject to a grant of planning permission being obtained to continue to use the premises as a school.

Car parking at the location will be available for public use during school holidays at Christmas, Easter and summer.
