Report sought on status of cyber security at Mayo local authority

A report on the current status of Mayo County Council’s cybersecurity has been requested by an elected member of the authority.

Given what has happened in the health service recently, it is important to have regular updates, Councillor Al McDonnell stated.

The attack on the HSE system has had a significant impact on its delivery of services as well as incurring costs.
