Mayo TD in productive meeting over rail freight service between Ballina and Dublin Port

Mayo TD Dara Calleary has reported having 'a productive meeting' with Minister of State at the Department of Transport Hildegard Naughton around the unacceptable issues that have arisen with the Ballina to Dublin Port Rail Freight Service.

The Ballina representative outlined: "I reiterated the importance of this service to Ballina and to industry in the west.

"For her part she assures me that her department is actively pursuing a resolution and will keep me updated on developments."
