"Many of us have been speaking with Regina over the past number of weeks and more than once she commented on how proud she was of her profession and how pleased she was of the fabulous care provided to her at all stages of this difficult journey for her.

"Being cared for close to home by the extraordinary professional and compassionate staff at Mayo Roscommon Hospice made her final journey extremely comfortable.

"We think of her beautiful smile and infectious laugh, her practical common sense and we are very thankful to have her friendship.

"Today we think of Tom, Catherine and Regina, her mother and siblings and their extended family as they celebrate Regina’s beautiful life and mourn her passing."
