Gill Berry named Network Ireland Mayo Business Woman of the Year

Gill Berry has been named Business Woman of the Year at the annual Network Ireland - Mayo Branch awards ceremony.

The gala event was held in the Mountfalcon Estate, Ballina.

Gill founded PerCen Technologies in 2019 in response to challenges that she felt were not addressed in healthcare.

PerCen is pronounced ‘person’ and represents ‘person centred’ technologies.

Its aim is to use scientific knowledge and the latest technologies to compliment clinical evidence based practice.

Speaking afterwards to Midwest Radio, she said: "Winning the STEM category was something else after a year in which we brought nurses to the forefront of STEM, especially during Covid-19.
