The following are today's Mayo death and funeral notices.

MARY KATE QUINN, CASTLEBAR

Mary Kate Quinn (née Clarke) (better known as Kathleen) Ross, Pontoon Road, Castlebar and formerly of Tubbridge, Keenagh, Ballina.

Predeceased by her parents Mary and Mikie Clarke and her children Kieran and Fiona who both died in infancy. Dearly loved wife of Martin and loving mother of Michael, Mary, Ann, Gerry, John, Raymond and Noreen. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers John and Michael, sister Nora Mitchell, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends including her former work colleagues in the Sacred Heart Hospital, Castlebar.

Funeral Mass took place in St. Michael's Church, Crimlin. Afterwards Kathleen was laid to rest in Parke Cemetery.

TERESA MCGEE, BALLYCASTLE

Teresa McGee (née Nealon), White Oaks, Knocknacarra, Galway, and formerly of Ballyknock, Ballycastle; peacefully, surrounded by her loving sons. ( Predeceased by her brother Joe).

Cherished and much loved, she will be sadly missed by her sons Alan and Stuart, daughters-in-law Fiona and Sarah, grandsons Ryan and Aidan, her brother Chris, sisters Ann and Angela, sister-in-law Rose, brother-in-law Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many loyal friends.

Mass took place at St. Bridgid's Church, Ballycastle, followed by burial in Ballycastle Cemetery.

PETER HOGAN, WESTPORT

Peter Hogan (Pete), Westport.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Rod and Michael and sister Emma. Predeceased by his brother Patrick. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, niece, nephews, friend Maureen and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.

Funeral Mass took place in St. Mary's Church, Westport. Burial will take place today (Thursday), in Deansgrange Cemetery, Dublin.

SADIE WALSH, BALLINA

Sadie Walsh (née Moffatt), New York and formerly Dervin, Castlehill, Ballina

Predeceased by her sister Rose (O'Malley), brothers Jack and Michael. Deeply regretted by her children Brian, Mary (Sorrentino), Kathleen (Mahon) and Paul, daughters-in-law (Julie and Christine), sons-in-law (Marty and Bob), her eight grandchildren, her great grandchildren, her sister Emily (Dooley), her brother Willie, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass on Friday, July 30, at 9.30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church New Hyde Park, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery - Farmingdale.

PAUL SUTTON, WESTPORT

Paul Sutton, Westport and late of Glasnevin Avenue, Dublin 11. Dearly beloved son of Rose and George Bernard Sutton (deceased). Deeply mourned by his mother, sisters Karen and Linda, niece Emma and nephew Kevin. Sadly missed by his aunt June, cousins, extended family at home and abroad, neighbours and friends in Westport and Dublin.

A private funeral took place today (Thursday) at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, Glasnevin, Dublin, followed by a private cremation service.

BRIDIE PASCUZZO, CLAREMORRIS

Bridie Pascuzzo (née Halligan), New York and formerly Cloondinaire, Claremorris.

Bridie was predeceased by her husband Patsy, her brothers John, Michael, Andrew, Christopher, and Thomas, sister Helena. Bridie will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Teresa and Kathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, and all her friends in America and Ireland.

Funeral Mass took place today (Thursday) at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Crossboyne, with burial afterwards in Crossboyne Cemetery.

MAUREEN KILCOYNE, LOUISBURGH

Maureen Kilcoyne (née Gavin), Cregganbawn, Louisburgh.

Loving wife of the late Pat. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughters Mary, Kathleen and Ann, sons Seamus, Peter, Owen, Patrick, Tony, and John, sister Sheila (Louisburgh), brother Peter (Coventry), grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial took place at the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Garvey Maeve, Malahide and formerly of Raheny and Kilmaine.

Beloved wife of Frank Shortle. Very sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters Hannah and Lucia, sisters Grainne and Sinead, brothers Richard and Brian, mother-in-law Leesha, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

PAT FOODY, BALLINA

Pat Foody, Convent Hill Crescent, Ballina.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Mary and his brother Tommy. Pat, beloved husband of Martha and loving father to Fergus, Sinead, Brian and Ciara. Deeply regretted and dearly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law Clare, Michael, Gemma and Sean, brothers Mickey, Benny and Stephen, sisters Annie, Iris and Mary, grandchildren Emma, Tom, Finn, Aoife and Molly, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Mass of the Resurrection took place today (Thursday) at St. Muredach's Cathedral, with burial afterwards to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

JOHN DOHERTY, CHARLESTOWN

John Doherty, Clonard, Co. Meath and late of Charlestown.

Beloved brother of the late Vinnie and Margaret, and brother-in-law of the late Jimmy Trench and Pat Cullen, deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, sister Anne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to current government guidelines, a private family funeral will take place for John (limited to 50 persons). Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to the current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message for the family in the condolences section below.

Wife of the late Patrick, and mother of the late sons Patrick and Jimmy and daughters Angela, Mary and Justina. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons John and Michael, daughters Assumpta and Anne, daughter-in-law Carmel, sons-in-law Peter, Chris and Joe, grandchildren Laura, Stefan, Lorraine, Rhiannon, David, Orla, Hannah and Ella, nieces, nephews, neighbours relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass took place today (Thursday) in the Church of The Holy Rosary, Castlebar, followed by burial afterwards in Castlebar Old Cemetery.

THOMAS MCINTYRE, BELMULLET

Thomas McIntyre, better known as Theo, late of New York, New York and Seaview, Belmullet.

Predeceased by his father Martin. Thomas will be sadly missed by his loving family, mother Rena, brothers Martin, David and Paul, sisters Ursula, Catie, Carlina, Melissa and Aoibheann, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Funeral cortège will depart from the family home in Seaview, Belmullet on Saturday, July 31, at 11:40 a.m. and travel via Quay Street and Chapel Street to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment of ashes will take place in Emlybeg Cemetery immediately afterwards.

A memorial Mass for the repose of Thomas’ soul will be held at a later date which will be announced in due course.

PATSY HENEGHAN, CASTLEBAR

Predeceased by his brother Tom Heneghan. Deeply regretted by his family, loving sister Maura Hanrahan, sister-in-law Teresa Heneghan, nephews Thomas and John Heneghan and John and Paudge Hanrahan, nieces Mary, Delia, Sheila and Olive Heneghan and Mary and Elizabeth Hanrahan, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Coady’s funeral home this Friday, July 30, at 10 a.m. with removal at 11.15 a.m. for funeral Mass in The Holy Family Church, Parke, at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards at Turlough Cemetery.

May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.
