CIAN DOUTHWAITE, WESTPORT

Cian Douthwaite, Kilmeena, Westport.

Cian will be sadly missed by his parents Boru and Christina, his sister Isabelle, his grandmothers Blanca and Mary, his aunts Carolyn, Lucy and Les and his uncles Rommel, Jo and John, his cousins Fionn, Bryony, Dearbháil, Conn and Cormac and his friends in Westport, Cork and Colombia, who were so important to him.

BRIDGET (BRIDIE) LAFFEY, FOXFORD

Bridget (Bridie) Laffey (née Slattery), Irishtown, Foxford, and formerly of Chicago, Illinois, and Churchquarter, Roundfort.

Predeceased by her husband Bartholomew (Bert), she was devoted and beloved mother to Mary, Brigid and James.

She is also mourned by her sister Teresa O’Dea (Hollymount Nursing Home), nephews, niece, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Bridie’s remains will arrive at St Michael’s Church, Foxford, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Saturday, August 14, with burial afterwards in Knock Cemetery.

In keeping with government guidelines regarding public gatherings, Bridie’s Requiem Mass will be private for family, neighbours and close friends.

Mary, Brigid and James wish to extend a special word of thanks to Tommy and Anne Feeney and the kind and hard-working staff of Ave Maria Nursing Home in Tooreen who provided our precious mother with a wonderful ‘home from home’ for the past three years.

CHRISTINA MCLOUGHLIN, BALLINA

Christina McLoughlin (née Lowther), Cloona, Ballina.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, parents Kate and John Lowther and her brothers and sisters.

She is deeply regretted and dearly missed by her loving sons and daughters Brendan (Ardagh), Padraic (Cork), Val (Foxford), John (Ballina), Mary (Dublin), Pauline (Corrimbla), Michael (Ballina), Gerard (Cooneal), Joseph (Ardagh) and Kevin (Ballina), her sister Carmel (Leicester), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 37 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's funeral home, Ballina on Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 7.30pm for family and close friends only please.

Funeral cortége will arrive to the Church of our Lady of the Assumption, Ardagh at 8 p.m.

Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 12 noon with burial afterwards to Leigue Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be private to family only (50 people).

THOMAS FORDE, BEKAN

Thomas (Tom) Forde, Bekan, Claremorris.

He is deeply regretted by his wife Mary, his brothers Seamus and Padraic, sisters Brigetta, Muriel, and Rita, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral will repose at Donnellan's Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis, on Thursday evening from 6 o'clock with removal at 8 o'clock.

Funeral will arrive to Bekan Church for Funeral Mass at 2 o'clock on Friday with burial afterwards in Bekan Cemetery.

MYLES FAHEY, CLAREMORRIS

Myles Fahey, Ballydaff, Taugheen, Claremorris, and Dunboyne, Co. Meath

Myles died suddenly at The Mater Private Hospital.

Predeceased by his father Tom and mother Mary, his brother Kieran and sister Bríd, he is deeply regretted by his loving wife Marie (née Reilly), sons Stephen and David, daughters Karen, Ciara and Sarah, David’s partner Aoife, his brothers Michael, Tommie and Liam, sister Rose, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and a large circle of friends.
