JULIA MCANDREW, LOUISBURGH
Julia McAndrew, Oranmore, Co. Galway and formerly of Uggool.
Julia passed away on Sunday, August 15, in her 65th year in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in the country she had truly learned to love and enjoy since arriving there last December. She died peacefully with her son Patrick and daughter Eliska by her side.
Born in Uggool, Co. Mayo to Patrick and Ann McAndrew. Dearly loved sister of Maureen Shaughnessy, Michael McAndrew, Brid Moffatt, Ann Gorman, John McAndrew and the late Ellie Murphy.
Deeply mourned by Patrick and Eliska and the Mc Andrew family, relatives and many wonderful friends at home and abroad.
Cremation has taken place in Mexico and Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Julia on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore.
Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rinville cemetery, Oranmore. While the size of the congregation will continue to be curtailed by Covid-19 regulations, it will be possible to participate in the liturgy by tuning in to the Parish Radio (105.3FM) and Parish Webcam www.oranmoreparish.org/live/
MARY T. CODY, CASTLEBAR
Mary T. Cody (née Conway), 2 Garryduff Court, Castlebar and formerly of Moneen, Springfield, Castlebar.
She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Mary Conway and by her brothers Thomas Conway and Joe Conway, Moneen, Castlebar.
Mary will be sadly missed by her sons Thomas (Castlebar), Edward (Connecticut, USA) and her daughter Maureen O'Neil (Florida, USA), her six adored grandchildren, her sister Peggy Halpin (New Jersey, USA), cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Mary will repose at the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Monday from 10 a.m. with prayers at 10.50 a.m. Removal at 11 a.m. to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m. followed by private cremation.
