Number of Mayo hospitalised Covid cases increases

The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in care at Mayo University Hospital (MUH) has increased by three to 10 in the past 24 hours.

That's according to the latest assessment conducted at the Castlebar facility by the HSE at 8 p.m. yesterday.

No new cases were admitted to the centre on Saturday.

There are 357 cases nationally, up by nine, the Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, having the highest number with 36.

Galway University Hospital the second highest with 31 while Sligo University Hospital has 24 cases.

There are no suspected case at the Castlebar facility and three Covid patients are in ICU.
