Andy Moran set to be named new Leitrim boss

Former Mayo GAA star Andy Moran is poised to be appointed the new manager of the Leitrim senior football squad.

He will take over the role from Terry Hyland who stood down in July.

Moran is currently managing his home town club, Ballaghaderreen, with Michael Solan.

According to reports, the official announcement of his appointment to the Leitrim post is imminent.

Moran was previously linked with the vacant Longford managerial post.
