Mayo's premier entertainment venue reveals its reopening plans

Life springs eternal once more as the reopening of the Royal Theatre Castlebar sees an exciting series of music and comedy shows taking place at the leading venue over the coming months.

Carmel Kelly, general manager, said: "Our team and I look forward to welcoming back our artiste friends and loyal customers with fabulous shows and musicals.

"We do realise that there is a pent-up demand for shows, but remember the pandemic is not over, so caution is the word.

"Most of our shows are taking place in 2022

"But over this Christmas we have shows in the calibre of Smokie, Mike Denver, Kodaline, the musical Dirty Dancing, ABBA Forever Christmas party, and Nathan Carter, to name but a few."
