Mayo JFC A semi-final lineups confirmed

The draws for the Mayo Junior football championship semi-finals have taken place this evening.

Cill Chomain and Shrule/Glencorrib, following their quarterfinals wins this afternoon over Ardagh and Achill respectively, will square off for a place in the junior A final, while the other semi sees favourites Islandeady and Kilmeena clash in what promises to be a tasty encounter.

Both semi-finals will take place next weekend (November 6/7) with times and venues to be confirmed.

Elsewhere today, Breaffy won the Under 16 B final after overcoming Hollymount/Carramore ona scoreline of 1-15 to 2-10, while Claremorris capped off a memorable week by completing the double over Castlebar Mitchels to win the Under 18 A title on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-9, adding to their Under 16 A they won midweek against the county town.
