Disappointment over Mayo Halloween display being vandalised

A lovely Halloween display in Westport has been vandalised.

The Mall Boutique at North Mall in the town has expressed disappointment over its 'Pumpkin Patch' being damaged.

"It is complete disrespect to the hard work and creativity of our young people in the community.

"Shame on those responsible for the reckless need to do this," a post on the boutique's Facebook page stated.

The displays that were vandalised are still being included in the shop's competition for best entries as photographs were taken prior to the damage being caused.
