Initial project approval for Ballyhaunis Community School
INITIAL project approval for an extension to Ballyhaunis Community School under the additional school accommodation scheme has been welcomed by Deputy Alan Dillon.
The extension will consist of a two classroom SEN base, five general classrooms, one science lab/prep area, as well as an art room and art store.
Said Deputy Dillon: “This is a welcomed extension to complement this well recognised school.
“I wish principal David McDonagh, staff and students continued success going forward.”
Deputy Michael Ring also expressed his delight at seeing initial approval issuing for the works the school.
He commented: “I look forward to the works progressing and I am sure that the teachers and students will benefit from the additional accommodation in their school.”
