Extension approved for Balla National School

BALLA National School has been granted an extension under the Additional Accommodation Scheme from the Department of Education and Skills.

Welcoming the news, Deputy Michael Ring confirmed that the school has been approved a 80m2 general classroom, one 15m2 SET room, two SEN base classrooms, as well as a user assisted WC.

He commented: “This extension is very welcome news for the pupils and staff of Balla National School. It will greatly enhance their capacity.

“The Additional Accommodation Scheme is an important programme which improves the quality of school buildings and helps them to expand their capacity.”
