Launch of south Mayo town's history journal

Claremorris Historical Society has announced that the fifth edition of its history journal, Clann Mhuiris, will be available from the usual outlets in Claremorris from next weekend.

The publication of Clann Mhuiris has become something of an annual event, eagerly looked forward to by all with an interest in local history.

As always, this year’s edition contains a wealth of interesting articles including many rare photographs, and will make an ideal Christmas gift for Claremorris people at home and abroad.
