Plans for extension to Mayo school being progressed

A Mayo Oireachtas member has welcomed the news that an extension approved for Mountpleasant N.S is to proceed to tender.

Senator Chambers said: “I very much welcome the news from the department that the tendering process for an extension at Mountpleasant N.S has now begun,”

“This project, which is part of the additional school accommodation scheme, will make a significant difference to the school, its staff and its pupils and I am glad to see the it has finally been kickstarted."
