The death has occurred of Thomas (Tommy), Friel, Dublin and Letterbrock, Westport, November 10, 2021. Predeceased by his brothers John, Ted, Michael and Joe. Deeply mourned by his brother Pat and nieces and nephews.

Tommy’s cremation took place in Dublin on November 13, funeral Mass and burial will be in Drummin Church, Westport, this Saturday at 12 noon. Covid-19 protective measures must be adhered to. MICHAEL DOHERTY, BALLYHAUNIS

Michael Doherty, late of Ballydavid, Athenry, Co. Galway and Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo who passed away, peacefully in Mayo General Hospital, after a short illness, on Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Predeceased by his parents Catherine and Michael, sisters Rita and Monica and his grandson Danny.

Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas (Ivan), brothers, Hughie and Mick and son-in-law Martin. Dan Hoban, George’s Street, Newport, passed away peacefully on November 14, at his residence.

Dan will be sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa, daughters Eithne, Teresa, Mary, Ita, Helena, Deirdre, Aileen, and Róisín, sons Séan, Donal, Padraig, Eamon and Fearghal. Reposing at his residence in Gorthmellia on Wednesday from 3 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Funeral cortège will depart from his residence on Thursday afternoon at 12.30 o'clock to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Inver, for funeral Mass at 1 o'clock. Interment will take place afterwards in Inver Cemetery.

A memorial Mass for the repose of Seamus’s soul will be held at a later date which will be announced in due course.
