Tough draw for Mayo in next year's senior provincial GAA championship

The draw for next year's Connacht GAA senior football championship has been made.

Mayo face a daunting task against Galway at the quarterfinal stage in what represents a repeat of this year's provincial decider, a game that was played in Croke Park.

The winners of that tie will face Leitrim or London in the semi-final.

On the other side of the draw, Sligo take on New York, with Roscommon awaiting the winners at the last four stage.

Mayo have won each of the last two Connacht senior football championships, going on to reach and ultimately lose the All-Ireland finals on both occasions.
