KATHLEEN LAVELLE, SWINFORD

Kathleen Lavelle (née Murphy) Clarkestown, Summerhill, Co. Meath and late of The Rath, Kilmore, Kilcock, Co. Meath and Swinford. Peacefully surrounded by her family in the tender care of the staff in Care Choice, Nursing Home, Trim, Co. Meath.

Kathleen, predeceased by her husband John, her brother John and sisters Eileen, Mary and Delia. Deeply regretted by her loving family, son Vincent, daughters Carol (Fields) and Adrienne (Gillespie), her sister Linda (UK), her grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Mairead, sons-in-law Vincent and Ben, sister-in-law Shiela (New York), her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Wm Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, Church Street, Kilcock (W23 XC90) on Wednesday 8th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Following strict guidelines the use of facemasks and hand sanitizer is essential.

Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Assumption Coole, Summerhill, at 12 noon on Thursday. followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Kilcock.

Kathleen's funeral cortege will leave her son Vincent's house at 11:30 a.m. en route to the church via the New Road and Garadice.

ANTHONY MEANEY, CASTLEBAR

The death has occurred, unexpectedly at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, of Anthony Meaney, Davitt's Terrace, Castlebar and formerly of Kilcullen, Co. Kildare.

Predeceased by his parents John and Helen and his brothers Michael and John. He will be sadly missed by his beloved daughter Tara and his son Liam; his loving sisters Marie and Teresa and brothers Liam, Terry and David; his cherished grandchildren Bo. Jax, and Tilly.

Aged 65, Anthony was well known and respected in his adopted Castlebar, where he worked for many years in Tesco.

The funeral arrangements for Anthony will be announced soon.

JAMES WALSH, KNOCK

James Walsh, Knock and formerly of Lower Cappaghduff, Tourmakeady, suddenly on December 4, 2021.

Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Bridgie Walsh. Sadly missed by his sisters Sally (Gibbons), Tourmakeady, Mary (Roughan), London, Bridie (Folliard) Aghamore, his brother Martin, New York, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St Mary’s Funeral Home, Tourmakeady on Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to Tourmakeady Church. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

MARY BYRNE, WESTPORT

The death has taken place in the Galway Clinic Hospital of Mary Byrne, Upper Glassagh, Gweedore, formerly of Mallow, Co Cork and originally from Westport.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, son John, daughters Michelle and Maura, daughter-in-law Niamh, son-in-law Jason, grandchildren Alexandra and Aoibheann and extended family. Predeceased by her grandson Ruaidhrí.

Her remains will repose at Roarty's Funeral Home, Derrybeg, (F92DN4X) on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Removal afterwards to St. Colmcille's Church, Cnoc Fola, for 7 p.m., to repose overnight.
