Lotto luck strikes again at Corrib Oil

LIGHTNING has struck twice at Mayo-based company Corrib Oil.

They have sold their second €500,000 EuroMillions winning ticket in a week.

The latest lucky entry was purchased at their Castlerea store.

Meanwhile the €500,000 jackpot winner who purchased their lucky ticket in Corrib Oil in Castlebar last Friday has made touch with the National Lottery and arrangements are being made for them to collect their prize.

The EuroMillions player in Castlerea became the biggest winner of the night after winning the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s (Tuesday) EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning Quick Pick was purchased on Sunday at the Corrib Oil service station on St. Patrick’s Street in the town.

While there has been a great buzz around the Castlebar store after they sold the lucky ticket in last Friday night's EuroMillions Plus draw, today the celebrations are centred in neighbouring Roscommon where manager Keith Gallagher commented: “A win like this really couldn’t come at a better time. One of our customers certainly has had the ultimate early Christmas present this week.

“With all the talk of restrictions and uncertainty, it’s just lovely to get a good news story like this. All of our staff are delighted with the win and excited that one of our customers has come into such good luck.

“Hopefully the winner checks their ticket soon and realises just how much it’s worth before Christmas. The whole team wishes them all the very best with their win!”
