MICHAEL CAHILL, KILTIMAGH

Michael Cahill, Cortlandt Manor, NY and formerly of Cully, Co. Sligo and Main St, Kiltimagh - December 24, 2021. Michael died peacefully at home after a short illness.

Born in Cully in 1928 to Michael and Mary (née Parsons) brother of Seamus and the late Martin, Padraic and Sr. Rita, Ursuline Convent, Sligo.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Catherine (Kathleen O’Brien), his brother Seamus, his children Martin, Ann, Ita, Sheila and Joseph and their spouses Annette, Thomas, Maurice, Jeff and Sabine, and last but by no means least his much loved grandchildren Eva, Leah and Eoin Meenaghan, Sarah, Luke, Alison and Francis Cahill, Cian and Clodagh Higgins and Hannah and Liam Cahill.

Funeral Mass at St Columbanus' Church, Cortlandt Manor, NY, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Assumption Cemetery.

SEAMUS MUNNELLY, BALLINA

Seamus Munnelly, Rooskey, Garranard, Ballina. Peacefully at his residence on Sunday, December 26.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brothers Josie and Sean. Sadly missed by his sister Maureen, brother Michael, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Remains reposing at Hineys Funeral Home Crossmolina on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to St. Cormac's Church Moygownagh. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.

ANN O'FLAHERTY, BALLINTUBBER

Ann O' Flaherty, Westwood, Massachusetts, USA and formally Balllintubber, Claremorris, tragically on December 15, 2021, aged 62 years.

Sadly missed by her beloved husband of 34 years Ray, son Raymond, daughters AnnMarie and Roisin, Sisters Margaret Mitchell (Enniscrone) and Angela Campbell (Derrew), brothers and sisters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Killawalla Community Centre on Wednesday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with removal afterwards to St. Patrick's Church, Killawalla. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 Noon, with burial afterwards in Ballintubber Abbey cemetery.

ANGELA ACTON, KILMAINE

The death has occured of Angela Acton (neé Davitt), Ballycushion, Kilmaine suddenly at Mayo General Hospital, Castlebar on the 24th of December.

Predeceased by her father Frank. Deeply loved and sadly missed by her loving husband Donal, son Darragh and her two daughters Rebecca and Clodagh. Her mother Ann, brothers Liam and Tom and her sister Josephine. All her in-laws, nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

John Barrett, Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly Tubbermore, Crossmolina December 25, 2021, peacefully at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.

Beloved husband of Martina and loving father of Shane and Fergal, brother of the late Mary and Loretta. Very deeply regretted by his brother Patrick, sister Bernie, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Frances McGreal (née Duffy), Gowelboy, Kiltimagh and formerly from Bohola on December 25, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar following a brief illness.

Frances will be sadly missed by her husband Tommy, her daughters Sandra de Lacy (Turlough), Ann-Marie Hayes (Knock), sisters Una Kelly (Lucan, Dublin), Marion McGovern (Kingsbury, London), brother Willie Duffy (Bohola), her sons in-law Ciaran and Paul, her seven grandaughters Hannah, Grace, Sarah, Rachel, Amy-Marie, Annabelle and Mary-Lillian, her brothers in-law Terry and Tom, sister in-law Margaret, nieces and nephew, cousins, extended family neighbours and friends.

Peter, predeceased by his brothers Sean and Jim and sister Alice. Beloved husband of Lilian and dear father of Richard. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and son, brother Willie, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 6.30 p.m. to St. Patrick's Church, Ballina, arriving at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11.30 a.m. with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

Remains will repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Monday evening from 4 o'clock until 6 o'clock with funeral arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Belmullet at 7 o'clock. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 o'clock, followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

Predeceased by his beloved parents John and Kate, sister Ann, brother Gerry and granddaughter Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Dorothy, daughters Ann-Marie and Margaret, sons John, Gerry and Martin-Joe, brother Fr John-Joe (England), sister Peggy (USA), sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, daughters in law Annette, Rita and Gerry's partner Donna and son-in-law Alan, his adored grandchildren Orla, Maria, Lauren, Catherine, Megan, Aisling, Amber, Mikey, Máirtín, Matthew and Sean.
