Mayo Football League postpones Masters fixtures for two weeks

The Mayo Football League has taken the decision to postpone the next two weeks of Masters fixtures due to the current Covid-19 situation.

It means that the fixtures scheduled for January 5 and 6 will be re-fixed for January 19 and 20 respectively, and the fixtures scheduled for January 12 and 13 will be re-fixed for January 26 and 27 respectively.

The Master League is already on a break for Christmas, so this decision by the League Management Committee (LMC) will extend that break.

Mayo Football League secretary John Durkan concluded: “On behalf of the LMC, may I take this opportunity to wish everybody associated with the game good luck, health and happiness in the new year.”
