MAYO COVID HEROES 5: Amanda McGuinness

Mayo mum Amanda McGuinness and son Jack Golden appeared on The Late Late Show in early April to raise awareness about autism.

Amanda, a columnist for The Connaught Telegraph, was diagnosed with autism last Christmas and and has been reaching out to adults with autism, as well as highlighting autism in girls, which can often go undiagnosed.

During the programme, the Fitzpatrick Foundation announced a €100,00 donation for autism charity AsIAm.
