MAYO COVID HEROES 7: Casey's Londis

Mayo retailer Gerry Casey and his team in Casey’s Londis Castlebar and Ballina, as well as Galway, Limerick and Kildare, raised an incredible €10,000 for Londis’ official charity partner LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice during the February 280,000 Step Challenge.

Conor Hayes, Londis sales director, congratulated Gerry Casey and the team in Casey Londis Group.

“They have a proud tradition of undertaking these charity initiatives with enthusiasm, and this is no exception,” he said. “To raise €10,000 for such a worthy cause is a tremendous testament to their commitment and giving nature, and we’re all very proud of them.”

LauraLynn is the only specialist hospice in Ireland to care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. The children's hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care to children with life-limiting conditions and gives respite and support to their families - at the hospice, in the community and in their own homes.
