Top Mayo GAA club in search of a new senior team manager

Breaffy GAA Club is searching for a new senior team manager after Martin McIntyre informed the chairperson that he will not be continuing in the role.

The club has thanked Martin for his hard work and personal commitment throughout challenging county league and championship campaigns in 2021, and also offered gratitude to his dedicated backroom team for their support and contribution during the year.

In a statement the club continued: “As Martin and his family live within the club area, no doubt he will remain closely associated with Breaffy football in the years ahead. We wish Martin every success in his personal and professional life for the future.”

The search now starts for a new manager, with Breaffy GAA Club seeking expressions of interest from candidates to fill the position as manager of the senior football team.

Detailed information will be provided to candidates who in the first instance express interest in the position and who demonstrate they have the requisite expertise and experience in Gaelic football and team leadership.

Interested candidates can apply to the club secretary on or before 5 p.m. on Friday, January 14, at secretary.breaffy.mayo@gaa.ie.
