Signage erected along Mayo road highlighting wind farm concerns

A number of signs have been erected along the public roadway at Glenisland signalling opposition to a wind farm proposal proceeding in the area.

"Too Big, Too Close" one of the signs reads.

Another stated: "No wind turbines."

It is understood a formal application in respect of the proposal in question has not been lodged to Mayo County Council to date.

However, a firm message has now been sent out in Glenisland in regard to the matter.
