Mayo wind farm proposal before An Bord Pleanála

A PROPOSAL for a new wind farm in Mayo is before An Bord Pleanála.

The pre-application consultation is in respect of lands at Kilsallagh and adjacent townlands, Kilcommon.

The proposed Kilsallagh Wind Farm consists of 13 wind turbines and ancillary equipment, including 110kV substation infrastructure.

The case is due to be decided by May 4.

EDF Renewables Ireland Limited are behind the development.
