Pencil style bollards suggestion for outside Mayo schools

NOVEL pencil style bollards on roadsides at schools have been suggested by a Mayo councillor.

Councillor Ger Deere said a friend had sent him photos of a school in Dublin where they have bollards in the shape of a pencil, with different colours.

They identified that you were approaching a school, he told a Castlebar Municipal District meeting, and should be looked at locally.

“It's very novel,” he said.
