Plot locator board needed at Mayo cemetery

A NOTICEBOARD to assist people to locate graves in the new cemetery in Castlebar has been proposed by a local councillor.

Councillor Blackie Gavin said a lot of people who have been away, when they come back to visit loved ones they find it difficult to find the graves.

Some cemeteries have noticeboards of where people are buried.

Several people have been on to him, he said, and he suggested at a local municipal district meeting that the council discuss it at a future workshop.
