West Mayo parishes in mourning over passing of Elaine Quinn

The death of Elaine Quinn (née Moylette), Crillaune, Ross, Castlebar, and late of Islandeady, Castlebar, has led to an outpouring of immense sadness and loss.

She died suddenly at Mayo University Hospital yesterday after a short illness.

Elaine was a very popular and much-loved personality whose kindness and affable manner endeared her to others.

Predeceased by her father Eamonn and father-in-law Jack, she is deeply regretted by her heartbroken husband Paul, son Sean, daughter Amy, mother Maureen, sisters Caroline (Monaghan), Breda (Mc Guire), brothers Edwin and Damien, brothers-in-law, Kieran, Michael (Mc Guire), Kevin, John, Micheal (Quinn), Christopher and Thomas, sisters-in-law Caitriona, Mary, Anne-Marie and Fiona, mother-in-law Margaret, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends, to whom heartfelt sympathy is tendered.

Remains reposing at St. Aidan’s Room in Islandeady on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. with removal at 7 p.m. to her mother’s residence in Islandeady.

The funeral cortége will arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Islandeady, on Wednesday morning, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Elaine will be laid to rest afterwards in Parke Cemetery.
