Status Orange wind warning for seven counties

A Status Orange wind warning has been issued for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Galway and Wexford

It is valid from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday.

Storm Eunice will bring severe and potentially damaging winds, gusting up to 130km/h, higher in exposed areas.

Some disruption is expected along with a possibility of coastal flooding.

A Status Yellow wind warning remains in place for Mayo until 11.30 p.m.

Westerly winds associated with Storm Dudley will reach mean speeds of 50 – 65km/h with damaging gusts of 80 – 110km/h, stronger on exposed coasts and on high ground.

A combination of high tide and strong winds will lead to a possibility of flooding on Atlantic coasts.

Occasional heavy rain will also bring a possibility of spot flooding.
