Concern as Mayo hospital patients are left without TV and Wifi

A Mayo elected member of the HSE West Forum has expressed his concern there is no TV or Wifi available for patients and residents of the St. John's Unit of the Sacred Heart Hospital in Castlebar.

Councillor Martin McLoughlin is disappointed that families are not permitted to provide a TV for their loved ones because of 'Covid and fire safety policy.'

“I also want to know why families are still not permitted to visit loved ones at the unit unless they make a pre-booking for a window visit,” he stated.

Councillor McLoughlin is calling for the issues to be resolved at the facility.
