Extension for north Mayo school goes to tender
CROSSMOLINA National School has proceeded to tender for a proposed new classroom extension, sensory garden and play area, it has been confirmed to Deputy Alan Dillon.
Said Deputy Dillon: “I am pleased to learn that Crossmolina National School have been sanctioned approval to proceed to tender for on-site services.
“The school has been approved for a general classroom as well as a user assisted WC, two SEN base classrooms, while external works include a soft play area and sensory garden.
“This is great news for the popular Crossmolina school and the approximate 130 students who attend.
“I wish principal Caroline Kennedy, the board of management, staff and students every continued success for the future.”
