Mayo LGFA's clash with Galway re-fixed for next Sunday

The LGFA Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1A round two clash between Galway and Mayo has been re-fixed for Sunday next, February 27, in Tuam Stadium. The throw-in time is 2 p.m.

The game was originally fixed for Sunday last (February 20) in Tuam Stadium before a decision was taken to move it to the outdoor astroturf facility at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence, but eventually it was called off altogether due to the inclement weather.

Mayo commenced their league campaign with a convincing 7-22 to 1-12 victory over Westmeath, while Galway were beaten by Donegal on a 0-10 to 0-7 scoreline.

A number of other games that fell victim to last weekend's foul weather have also been re-fixed for next Sunday. They are: Lidl NFL Division 2A, Clare v Kerry, Doonbeg; Lidl NFL Division 2B, Armagh v Cavan, Athletic Grounds, Armagh; Lidl NFL Division 3A, Sligo v Down, IT Sligo; Lidl NFL Division 3B, Longford v Kildare, Emmet Park, Killoe.
