New all-weather pitch for central Mayo GAA club

MAYO Gaels GAA Club is to get a new all-weather pitch.

The club has been granted planning permission to construct an all-weather 3G synthetic grass playing surface.

The proposal also includes a boundary fence and ball stop netting around its perimeter plus LED floodlighting on six 12-metre high columns.

The pitch is adjacent to Mayo Abbey National School and will be used by pupils as well as club members.
