Ireland’s top grocery retailers and brands gathered at the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, to attend the ShelfLife C-Store Awards.

Originally due to be held in November 2021, the ceremony was postponed due to the increase of Covid-19 hospitalisations occurring at that time and to ensure the safety of all involved.

Proving the adage that good things come to those who wait, Casey’s Londis Castlebar was presented with a bronze award in the Forecourt Retailer of the Year (Large) category at the ceremony.

Congratulating the Mayo store, Conor Hayes, Londis Sales Director said: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Gerry Casey and all the staff in Casey’s Londis, Castlebar, on being awarded a bronze medal on this national stage.

"The store and staff are very deserving of this industry accolade and they are great champions for the Londis brand.”

The ShelfLife C-Store Awards were set up to acknowledge stores and individuals that set the standards for the industry.
