Mayo and Tyrone to don retro jerseys for league fixture
To celebrate 30 years of the Allianz Leagues, six counties will wear once-off retro jerseys inspired by those worn in the first season of Allianz’s sponsorship of the competition.
The kits will be worn this weekend by Tyrone and Mayo in their Allianz NFL Division 1 football clash.
In the Allianz NHL, Galway, Clare, Wexford and Cork will be lining out in retro gear.
Fans can enter a draw to win a signed retro jersey, with all proceeds going to Allianz’s charity partner Women’s Aid. To enter the raffle, visit www.idonate.ie/raffle/AllianzWomensAid.
The retro Mayo jersey is visible in our photograph above, with Cathal McShane wearing the Tyrone kit.
Saturday's match between Tyrone and Mayo – who last faced each other in the 2021 All-Ireland final – throws in at 5.45 p.m. at O'Neills Healy Park, Omagh.
