Beatrice Acton (nee Egan), Ballycushion, Kilmaine.
Predeceased by her husband Dan, sister Mary and brothers Jarlath and Joe, She will be sadly missed by her sons Michael, Donal and Colm, daughters Mary, Kay, Beatrice and Eva, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. Her brothers Jim (London) and Vincent, sister-in-law Teresa, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence on Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Patrick's Church, Kilmaine, for Funeral Mass at 12 o'clock.
Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Kilmaine.
KATIE DUFFY, LOUISBURGH
Katie Duffy (Katie-Mary) (née Kilcoyne), Woodfield, Cregganbawn, Louisburgh, in her 97th year.
Predeceased by her husband Tommy, sons Michael and John, she is deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving sons Jimmy (Coventry), Tom and Pat (Terenure, Dublin) daughters Maureen (Coventry), Nora (Louisburgh), Catherine (Bohola), Breege (Westport) and Anne-Marie (Sligo), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended Duffy Family and a large circle of friends.
Katie-Mary will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh, on Saturday evening from 5 p.m., concluding with prayers at 6 p.m.
Funeral arriving to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen on Sunday for 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
JOSIE KENNEDY, BELMULLET
Josie (Michael Joseph) Kennedy, Arnos Grove, London, and originally from Carne, Belmullet.
Predeceased by his parents Pat and Agnes and his brother Martin, he will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving daughters Nora, Katherine, Josephine and Rosaleen and his son Padraig, their mother Kathleen, his partner Mary and his adored nine grandchildren.
He will also be sadly missed by his heartbroken sisters Mary O’Connor (Ballisodare, Co. Sligo), Katherine Mangan (Shore Road, Belmullet), Marilyn O’Donoghue (Brisbane, Australia) and Teresa Healy (Carne, Belmullet), brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, many friends.
Funeral arrangements to be announced later.
EVELYN MCLOUGHLIN, SWINFORD
Evelyn McLoughlin (née Regan), Lislackagh, Swinford
Predeceased by her granddaughter Aoife Regan, she is deeply regretted by her husband Kevin, sons Caoimhín and Brian, daughters Anita McDonnell, Jacinta Burns (Ballinasloe), Yvonne and Katrina Regan (Kilmovee), sisters Mena and Vera, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law. sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, family circle, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in her home today (Thursday) from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Evelyn's Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 1 p.m. in The Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Swinford, prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery.
TOM MCNICHOLAS, BALLA
Tom McNicholas, Chicago and formerly of Ara Balla.
Predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen (née Joyce, Miller Hill, Ballintubber), his sister Mary Ellen Jennings (Chicago) and brother John (Ara, Balla).
Tom is survived by his son Patrick and daughter Sheila, brother Pat (Cornwall), sisters Ann Butler and Philomena O'Laughlin (Chicago), daughter-in-law Deenna, son-in-law Jim, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Tom will be remembered with fondness by his neighbours and friends in Chicago and in his beloved Mayo.
Funeral Mass takes place in Our Lady of Victory Church, Chicago on Monday, March 21, followed by burial.
TONY MOORE, CASTLEBAR
Tony Moore, Hazelwood Road, Sligo Town, and formerly Castlebar.
Predeceased by his wife Marion (née Clarke), he was cherished father of Sharon, Derek and Kieran and adored granddad of Eoin, Sinead, Cormac, Fintan, Sean and Aidan.
Also sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Irene and Lisa, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home today (Thursday) from 2 p.m. Removal from his home at 1.30 p.m. on Friday to Saint Joseph's Church, Sligo.
Funeral to arrive for Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. prior to burial in Sligo Cemetery.
ANTHONY TOGHER, BELMULLET
Anthony Togher, Elly, Clogher, Belmullet.
Predeceased by his father John, brothers-in-law Michael Kerrigan and Willie Garvin.
Beloved son of Mary and dear brother of Mary O’Sullivan (London), Eileen Kerrigan (Hertfordshire, England), Rita Garvin (Shrataggle), Sheila O’Malley (Shrataggle), John Patrick (London), Martin (Dublin), and Christina Ryan (Newbridge, Co. Kildare), he is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, good neighbours and many friends.
Remains will repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet, on Friday evening from 5 until 6.30 p.m. with funeral arriving at St. Brendan’s Church, Tirrane, at 8 p.m.
Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Faulmore Cemetery.
