Death of Castlebar woman Margaret Fitzgibbon is deeply regretted
The death has occurred of Margaret Fitzgibbon (née Ludden), Cloggernagh West, Islandeady, Castlebar and formerly of The Lawn, Castlebar, suddenly, at her home yesterday (Wednesday).
The news of her passing is deeply regretted in the community at large.
As a young lady Margaret worked as a waitress in the Green Bay Restaurant in Castlebar. She later emigrated to England where she met and married Pat. Following their retirement 23 years ago they returned to Ireland and made their home in Islandeady.
Dearly loved wife of the late Pat, formerly of Milford, Co. Cork and loving sister of Bernie Ludden (Westport). Predeceased by her brothers Pat, Denis, Peter, Frank, Mike, Tommie, Jack and sisters Bridgie Guthrie and Mary Richardson.
She will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Sharon (Islandeady) and Louise (London), her adored grandaughter Molly, brother, sisters-in-law Ann and Sr. Nora, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Margaret will repose in the home of her daughter Sharon in Islandeady (F23 AD65) on Saturday (March 26) from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Removal on Sunday morning at 11a.m. to arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
Afterwards Margaret will be laid to rest with her beloved Pat in Islandeady cemetery.
