MARIE LOUISE LAGGER, WESTPORT

Marie Louise Lagger, Aughagower, Westport and formerly of Switzerland, at the Mayo Roscommon Hospice. Sadly missed by her brother Norbert (Switzerland), relatives, friends and neighbours.

Marie Louise's remains will repose in Aughagower community centre this Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Private cremation will take place in Shannon Crematorium at a later date.

MICHAEL MOORE, WESTPORT

The death has occurred peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of the ICU, Sligo University Hospital of Michael Moore, Lavagh, Ballymote, Co. Sligo and formerly of Aughergower.

Predeceased by his parents Austin and Annie and his brothers Martin and Michael. He will be dearly missed by his wife Tina, son Aaron (Lavagh), daughter Aoife (Strokestown) and their partners Martina and John, grandchildren Lana, Oisin, Conor, Daire and Ruby, sister Maggie, her partner Frank and nephew Alan (Tarmonbarry). He will also be missed by his sisters and brothers, Nancy Casey (Westport), James (Letterkenny), Cathy (San Francisco), Tommy (Aughagower), Mary (San Francisco), Joe (Letterkenny), Peter (San Francisco), Eileen (San Francisco), Tony (San Francisco), Teresa (San Francisco), Rory (Suasalito), Pat (San Francisco) and their respective partners and spouses, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, large extended family and many good friends.

PATRICK RYAN, CASTLEBAR

Patrick (Padraic) Ryan, Spencer Street, Castlebar and formerly of Ballinisland, Foxford. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of The Mayo Hospice. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary and brothers Francis and Kieran. Deeply regretted by his brothers Terry (Ballina), Brendan (Dublin), Eamonn (Essex), sisters Tina Whyte (Westport), Anna Fadden (Castlebar), Angela Dixon (Howth), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Coady Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 10.30 a.m. with removal at 11.30 a.m. to The Church of The Assumption, Toomore, via Ballinisland, for Requiem Mass at 1 p.m. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

DANIEL SHIEL, SWINFORD

Daniel (Dan) Shiel, Clooninshin, Meelick, Swinford. Peacefully, at his home.

Beloved husband of Anne (Maloney) and loving father of Deborah, Susan, Helen, Geraldine, Caroline, Anne Marie and Pat. Sadly missed by his sisters Bernadette, Eileen, Rose, Betty and his brother Terence. Dearly loved grandfather of Hazel, Jonathan, Susan, Yvonne, Sean, Aisling, Ryan, Katie, Daniel, James, Stephanie, David, Daniel, Adam, Anna, Daniel and great grand-daughter Bonnie Ann. Deeply mourned by his daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and large family circle.

Reposing in Campbell's Funeral Home, Swinford, on Tuesday, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Dan's Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Wednesday in St. Luke's Church, Meelick, prior to burial in Meelick Cemetery.

GERALDINE CUMMINS, BANGOR ERRIS

Geraldine Cummins, 7 Honors Grove, Bangor Erris and Ballycroy, formerly of Dunsany County Meath and Mitchel Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary who died recently in Mayo.

Predeceased by her parents Martin and Mary, brothers Fintan and TJ. Sadly missed by her loving children Shane, Gearoid and Megan, their father Kieran, Geraldine’s former partner and loyal friend Wolfgang, sisters Norma, Imelda, Angela, Aideen, Vivienne, Cora, Gabrielle, brothers Martin and Kevin, brothers-in-law Michael Andrew and PJ, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

All friends and family are invited to a Humanist celebration of life ceremony which will take place at Shannon Crematorium on Monday 2 p.m.

PATRICK MCNICHOLAS, RATHCASH

Patrick McNicholas, St. Joseph's Park, Lotabeg, Cork and formerly Mayo Abbey, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at Cork University Hospital.

Patrick (P.J.), beloved husband of Siobhán, much loved father of Pa, Joe, Sinéad, Mary, Yvonne and Maeve and dear brother of the late Anne Fallon. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and family, brother Pete, sister Mary Brett, grandchildren Robbie, Patrick, Fionn, Grace and Isaac, relatives, neighbours and friends in Cork and Mayo.

Reposing at his residence on Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Please wear a mask. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Our Lady Crowned Church, Mayfield. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
