New car rental hub proposed for Castlebar

ENTERPRISE Rent a Car are planning to open a new base in Castlebar.

It will be based at the Moneen Industrial Estate in Gorteendrunagh, Castlebar.

ERAC Ireland Ltd. have lodged a planning application with Mayo County Council in respect of the development.

They have sought the go-ahead for a change of use of an existing commercial unit to a car rental hub.

The proposal will create five or six new jobs if successful.
